Adventure is a necessary ingredient for a life well lived. Adventure doesn’t require that we see new things, but rather that we see the same things from new angles or different perspectives. It doesn’t require that we visit far away places, but rather that we visit near places with renewed enthusiasm. It doesn’t require that we have new experiences, but rather that we have common experiences with new appreciation.
Inspired by Keri Smith’s How to be An Explorer of the World, here are some of my best and favorite tips:
Look where you are walking.
Smile at flowers.
Touch.
People watch.
Visit familiar places like it’s your first time.
Smell.
Pay attention to the stories that are unfolding around you.
Take a different path.
Order something off the menu that you don’t usually get.
Overcome your blindness. Everything is fascinating - take a closer look.
Listen.
Turn right instead of left. Or left instead of right.
Take time to see what’s going on around you. Sit on a park bench.
Taste.
Turn the TV off.
Spend five minutes looking at something “ordinary” like a spoon or blade of grass.
Pet dogs.
See.
Compare and contrast. Notice the interconnectedness. Observe patterns.

With the recent anti-gay, homophobic, gay bashing, verbal and emotional violence that happened recently Youtube.com and Deafvideo.tv - when a video of eric (ericjindra12) doing vlog talk very negative toward gay/lesbian community. I thought it was not right for him doing this and no one has speak up so I am speak up for gay/lesbian community… this MUST stop!

It happened a thousand times before, it is happening right now and it will happen again in the future - to our family, friends and acquintances who are gays and lesbians.

• How many gay guys will still hide in the closets because they are afraid of coming out.  Afraid that coming out will affect their careers, their jobs. Afraid that their families and community will reject them if they are found out?
• How many LGBT people will suffer from imprinsonment, and even death sentences because being who they are active crimes against religion?
• How many still will be laughed at, ridiculed, and bashed to death?
• How many gays will just consider these violent acts as mere facts of life and even make further joke out it?
• How many brilliant gay guys will choose to live in safe mediocrity to avoid all these?
• How many will choose and accept to live a life as the joker or clowns (drag queens), as this seems to be the only way society can accept them as gay guys?
• How many gay guys will become homophobic themselves and join the so called “mainstream” society and try to reject and dehumanize homosexuals?
• How many will deny their sexuality and even try to convert/heal themselves thinking that homosexuality is a disease.
• How many will succumb to live a quite life of desperation and defeat?

Ten, thousands, millions … ?

This is not a time for singing somewhere there’s a place for us, a time and a place for us (while lighting the candles and holding our hands) … it is a time for action and revolution that should happen in politics, in religion and the society. Now!

I am so sorry for taking such a long ‘blog’ break! I shouldn’t even call it that, but since I did decide to take a break after our dept got laid off  … I suppose I could call it that even though it lasted several weeks longer than anticipated.

Anyhow, I am back now and more motivated than ever!

Do I hear “Welcome back!?!”

I’m taking some time off from the world of vlogging. I have too many things going on in my personal life at the moment that require my full attention.

This was a difficult decision for me to make, as I love this this venue of self expression. I just don’t want to subject my viewer to all of the negative thoughts that have taken my mind hostage. I’m feeling really down right now…I’ve never been in this kind of head space before. I’m usually quite resilient and am able to weather the stormy seas, but this time around, I need a little break to get my head screwed on right.

Hello all, I personally want to say thanks to Ardizz for letting everyone know what had happened to me. I got laid off on Monday which was SAD news for our dept. Thanks for all the comment below Ardizz’s vlog as well.

After seen DEAFPTL’s Vlog talks about “Ok To Be Gay and Saved at Same Time?”
He has repeatedly judge against homosexual by spitting bible word out to worldwide. It is not his duty to judge, and since he had judge million of people around the world with bible on his lap… it’s like he’s stepping on god’s foot and betrayed his wish. He shall go to HELL. 

NOTE: He could be gay himself but he wants to follow every single words from bible thinking being gay is the WORST sin overall.
